Man, that Toney thing is not going to work, you are wide open all the time and especially for uppercuts. I know plenty guys who have trained for 9 months who have alot more skill. Get to a gym, or get to a better gym because you're doing yourself no favours with this.

I only went twice a week and it was a MMA gym. I just focused on the boxing part of it it wasnt much, I just learned the basics down the head movement and some what counter punching i learned by my self

Well that would explain why it is bad, no offence. A good fighter would be catching you cleanly over and over again.

We decided quite a while ago not to allow backyard "boxing" in the training section. I do not care what your opinion on me is :good

    Because you have power, roar.

I hope they're paying you for this. Otherwise they're just getting you to do their **** for free!

I can move threads and ban people from a website, yes that makes me feel quite powerful

The reason I moved the threads is because they're about backyard boxing and we don't allow that in that particular section, like I told you. But if it makes you feel rebellious and cool to call me a *** a few more times, go ahead you boring clown.

    That hurts my feelings :|

There is a lot to work on, but I'm not going to your waste time with all of it.

    1. You need to develope a jab. When you do throw it, it looks slow and sloppy, so you seem like you're falling back on other punches. Overall I just didn't see enough jabs from you. Jabs are important to keep your opponent off kilter, to run interference, and to set up your offense. Oh, and to score points.

    2. Keep your hands just a little higher, especially when throwing punches and bobbing and weaving. Basically, if I was fighting you I would attempt to throw a jab or feint to get you to move, then pop you with something real as you duck, likely an uppercut. It gets hard to do that when your guard is in the way.

Overall, it wasn't bad! You do look like a guy who has genuinely put in a bit of effort, it shows. Both you and your friend at least understand the concept of "sparring". Too many times I see fools on here go full power in their backyards, and it looks clownish.

Do your friend a favor and tell him to keep his dangling left up. Or don't tell him and exploit that until he learns. Your call.

I'd respect you a lot more (whoever you are) if you just admitted you look like a dick by being so worthlessly petty instead of acting like the great unbothered. Of course his thread had something to do with boxing; the kid has aspirations. I posted a thread the other day on general fitness; it was even titled 'not boxing specific' - why not move that? But really, don't try to defend your moderator status. It's 'a job title someone's given you to get you to do something they don't want to do for free.'

    :D
