Anyone ever spar with someone MUCH bigger? I am 157-ish, but I was sparring Thursday with a 35 year old, 198 pound, 5'8 crude slugger and he hurt my elbow when I blocked one of his body shots. I want to know how any of you guys handle those type of circumstances.

the guy in the red at times fell into the ropes, and all times had his body open, you should have got him against the ropes and let your hands go a few times on his body then back upstairs...

you should work on putting short punch combinations together you would be much more effective then just throwing a few wild punches or throwing a 1-2 and starting over repeatedly...

yeah i once spared with this guy that had really heavy hands... i was blocking a right hook to the body and i dont know where the hell he hit me on the elbow that completely numb the right side of my left hand and completely numb my pinky finger, i felt this cold cramp feeling around my forearm up to my elbow, lmao!!!

i stepped back real quick to make sure i could throw with the left and it went away like in 5 seconds but shock because it had never happened before so after it went away i relentlessly started working his body before it occured again with right and left uppercuts and my fav the left hook, a few times he threw the right hook again (seeing it must have hurt me) instead i blocked it by turning my arm to a position my knuckles would face the side of my belly making the elbow stick out, he'd hit my elbow with his forearm (hurting his forearm) and by each time he wanted to pull the arm back up id counter it with a small short hook to the body before he could put his right hand back up, i repeatedly started bombing away at his ribs with the left hook using a right hand to the head to leave his body open again and went back to landing big lefts and he didn't want to keep going after a few more hooks, he didn't really know much about boxing, had his few street fights and one of the heaviest hands i ever felt, he couldn't really catch me on the head id step in and back up as fast as i could, his heavy handed ass already numb my hand, i didnt need him knocking my head numb as well, lol hope this help or you understood me, i probably did it well but sucked at explaining it, lol
