Anybody know much or have any usefull info on it .Does it affect performance much .I want to cut weight for a few weeks run and go to boxing :good I don't know how much weight to cut but i'm just thinking run hard and eat less .Maybe 3 small meals a day .I've never really done this serious .My weights always been not too bad for boxing so it's been cool to have a good meal and go .What is a safe amount ?

Before you do anything figure out how much you want to cut, cutting just for the sake of cutting is stupid.

1 or 2 lbs a week is the healthy way to cut weight, if you don't have any fights scheduled, ie there is no deadline that is how you should do it.

How much sparring while calorie deficient will effect you depends on just how calorie deficient you are going to be.
