    Most important aspect? Yes.
The only aspect, which can be attended to at the neglect of others? No.

    I disagree.

Sparring is secondary to a number of things. Especially after a fighter has a decent amount of rounds against a decent amount of opponents. Once a guy can "fight"? He gets far more from the training than the sparring.

    1. Heavy bag
    2. Road work
    3. Double end
    4. Shadow/pad work
    5. Sparring

It is too much damage and risk of damage for far too little return. Especially if not properly supervised.

Depends how far into his career he is.

Starting out, at amatuer level, I'd say it's invaluable.

Rocky did not sparr for his fight with Ivan Drago.

Disagree, Roadwork, Skiprope, Shadowboxing and padwork are more important, i can do with sparring every 2 months

Sparring is by far most important for me, some guys are different though.

I'm a kinesthetic learner, so for me I never learn anything completely until I spar. Usually spar twice a week when I'm training, often 3-4 times though. I kind of train based on what occurs in sparring. After a session I'll constantly have it on my mind until the next one. If I'm hitting the bag and shadowboxing, I'm not only thinking about sparring, I'm thinking specifically about my last session. Tough to explain, but you get the point.

Some guys can learn things by being told or by seeing them done. I have to actually do it to learn, I need an experience to go along with the knowledge.

I would spar every day if my body could handle it.

  10. Not a great fan of these threads because many things are too important to leave out. But anyway For me- Supervised Shadow boxing and Sparring some might have heavybag and sparring.

Quality sparring will always be the priority.
Pad work as well to develop good technical skills.
    You need it all.

pad work and bag work is ok but everything you learn new needs to be put into practice.
and the running and skipping thing aswell i find skipping is pointless its just tradition it just hurts my knees and feet. we have had division one footballers come down who are fit run alot but they are ****ed soon as they do any sort of pad work bag work sparring.

sparring is the most important aspect off training it keeps you sharp your timing is down to sparring getting acustomed to taking punishment is down to sparring pads cant do any off that.

    just my two cents

It’s the income tax of the annual government budget revenue.

A lot of guys don’t spar because it’s experience.

Still the most important in the ring computer network system.
