I want to do some light sparring with my close friends every week to help each other out. My friend and he's younger brother are 6'1/220 and 5.10/265. I'm 5'11 and somewhere between 190-200. We will go at 50% power, but I know they punch hard when they want to lol and so do I.We will use full face guards and 16 oz gloves and chest protectors. I'll be outweighed by 75 pounds or so! What to expect? Useful sparring?
you can have useful sparring no matter what weight your opponent weights even without all the protectors. It depends on the skill of your opponents and your adaptation. Also, if they punch too hard you can agree to go less then 50%.
Definitely could be useful for you and tactically insightful with terms of adjustment and coping with the height in one and weight in both cases disadvantage. With it being close friends already should be all good
