Thought this was interesting: This content is protected Amongst other things, he said: 1. AJ hit the hardest very narrowly followed by Gassiev. 2. Was in Kabayel's camp, but thought Zhang would win because Kabayel gets hit way too much even in sparring
I can't see the video, what was guys name? Also that sounds about right, Joshua's power seems a bit underrated these days, didn't know Gassiev still threw so hard at heavyweight though. Also, yeah Kabayel seems to have a style and defense that works great until it suddenly doesn't with him getting hit so much.
Interesting interview thanks for sharing So he says Gassiev is the 2nd hardest puncher he's sparred who he ranks closely behind AJ Harder than Kabayel, Hrgovic, and Ngannou
Jackson Murray. Yea he said Gassiev hits monstrously hard, but is a bit easier to get away from than AJ because he’s smaller. As for Kabayel, Murray thinks he’s going to be extremely dangerous for anyone, but that his style might lead to a Joe Joyce type situation.
Not too surprised to be honest! Chris Arreola said Gassiev was the hardest puncher he’s been in the ring with. And he’s fought some guys with good pop. I actually always have said Gassiev just might be the hardest puncher in boxing. DEFINITELY was at his best at cruiser imo This content is protected NASTY left to the body
Kabayel doesn't get hit much, he looks after himself in the ring and boxes to solid plans every time and he is tough enough that he could be a brawler.... Kabayel literally made a name for himself through sparring. When he was a no name Fury and AJ thought about fighting him but they knew risk reward was way out of proportion.
AJ should hit the hardest as he's way bigger than the everyone on this list and also has the best PEDs. The better comparison is AJ with people his own size, 6'5+. It's honestly not an amazing thing that any male 6'5 and over 100+kg naturally has big punching power and can KO people quite easily. Many males that size with a bit of athletic ability will be in that boat.
I sparred Jackson Murray a few times when he was still an amateur easily the tallest dude I have been in with he is a southpaw as well so was very awkward. He is a really nice lad and pretty honest.
