floyd aint taking no chances with pacman he's sparring

    errol spence jr
    yuriorkis gamboa
    demarcus corley

those guys were already named on esnews and fighthype
then its rumored to get some work in with zab judah as well.

pacman will be working with steve forbes. forbes is still pretty good in the gym even though he's older. i dont know the other sparring partners for manny though.

If Edwin Valero was still alive, he would've made an excellent sparring partner for Floyd.

Although this is a long shot, part of me wants Pac to have Broner as a sparring partner. It'd be hilarious to see his fat ass get beat up in sparring :rofl

I agree on Gamboa for Floyd, that is closest guy to mimic Pacquaio's ambush style, albeit a very poor man's version. I think Pacquaio is much, much harder to hit cleanly than Gamboa.

thats very true. gamboa is kinda a poor mans pacman but i kinda think gamboa can box better then pacman. but do you think boa is just as good as a mimic for pac as forbes is for floyd ? people been using forbes for the last 10yrs now. i know he was trained by all the mayweathers at some point in his career and has boxed floyd since they were teenagers but damn.

Manny should get El Chacal Rigondeaux, just to get his timing and approach right against a master counter-puncher. I know the weight difference is criminal, but this is the only guy they can possibly get that has the skills and ring IQ at a level with Floyd, and they should use him in sparring mainly to see what can work against a virtuoso counter-puncher and how Floyd may react to their strategies, not as a full-blown sparring rival.

As for Floyd's camp, Zab Judah and Devon Alexander seem like the best options to simulate Manny. Floyd being a master at in-ring adjustments, sparring Manny fight-a-like guys isn't such a big deal compared to how Manny needs to spar guys similar to Floyd. But Floyd has shown susceptibility to the big, quick left hand before and it certainly wouldn't hurt for him to get in rounds against Judah and the like.

Pacman should hire Broner since the general consensus is he fights alike,,... But you think he would help Pacman??? Doubt it though,,... Crawford would provide big help,,... And Cotto too!

Kartog, I was wondering whether someone was gonna mention Rigo. I agree.

The size is apples and watermelons, but technically this would be good for Pac IMO.

And if we're talking smaller guys with some good technical attributes, maybe Floyd could get Shiming, I see a little Pac in him (his feet I think).

Just my two cents apart from the obvious picks.

That's when you tell them, training's a lot harder than the actual fight,,...
