Special K headlining massive homecoming show March 17th

I'm starting to come round to Brook more, because he's actually beating people that have a bit of meat on their records.

I was at The Echo when he fought that Kotey fella, the first decent punch sent him flying half way across the ring, it was embarrassing.

At least the last couple (the American or whatever he was aside) have a bit of form.

Brook might get rid of Hatton in the late rounds, but my money would be on a points decision. I think he's got enough to keep Kell honest, though we might see a British stoppage at some point late.

 

Hatton went into the Alvarez fight looking to survive, he'd fancy his chances against Brook and be more offensively minded. He'd allow Kell to use his phenomenal pull counter. :yep

Homecoming after one poxy undercard fight in America?

 

Brook vs Hatton would be a very one-sided affair & afterwards everyone will again be critical of his choice of opponent.

Brook by stoppage in the 2nd half of the fight after winning every round.


If Clev gets a "homecoming" fight then Kell deserves one too :deal

 

There'll probably be some inter-continental strap on the line to help improve his alphabet rankings.

Brook is 7, Hatton 9 with the WBA and with the IBF Brook is at 5, Matt at 10 so I'm guessing it'll at least be an eliminator of some sort for one or even both of those belts.

Good fight if it happens. I also reckon Brook could force a stoppage late on :think

I do hear you but I have to admit his "defence" seemed pretty shite agaisnt Alvarez he was just eating big shots cross arming when he could then trying to burst a few shots out at the end.

Good fight if it can be made actually. I think Hatton might frustrate Brook actually.

Aye, you've got a point on his defence, I only watched Hatton-Alvarez the once and don't remember a great deal about it other than getting the feeling that Matty just didn't want to be knocked out. As you alluded to, if he is taking big shots from Canelo then he shouldn't have trouble taking them from Kell.

I still think that Kell will stop Matt late though.

According to wiki this arena holds 13,500 so guess it would have to be Hatton/bigger name + good undercard to get the punters in. Might look at going to this if the price is right:bbb

 

I'd take Brook to stop Matt, I think Matt's lack of head movement and having stiff upperbody isn't gonna bode well against a crisp puncher like Brook.
