GGG is collecting those to serve him in the after life, Kell will be the latest.

 

If he can pull it off it will be along those lines! Especially after all this unwarranted hype he has right now, this would be huge in the Boxing world.

 

Not hardly. Golovkin has a long way to go before he can be compared with Hagler.

How so ? whats hagler best wins? what are his best MW wins vs carrer MW , not guys going up in weight for a fight or 2?
GGG will be HOF when all is set and done if he continues to dominate the MW division the way he does.

He is not Hagler level , if its not clear , but dont forget Hagler best wins are vs WW ....

 

GGG is no Hall of famer...! He needs to beat somebody first. Kell is just the start but he is no Koysta Tszyu or Atturo Gatti in terms of putting it all on the line win or loose.

 

Much as I like Golovkin, he's neither had a truly defining fight nor accumulated the sort of success, over time, that Hagler did. Likewise, Brook hasn't done anything comparable to Leonard.
Re Brook's (another Boxer I like) challenge to Golovkin being compared with Leonard's to Hagler... ...the biggest deal about Leonard/Hagler, at the time, was SRL having been inactive for so long. The fight itself had been desired and considered as viable, in terms of it being a mutually competitive contest, some 5 years earlier (Leonard had gone into retirement in 1982, however).
I don't think the same could be said of Brook/Golovkin. This has come out of the blue; surprised many and is seen as a massive mountain to climb for Brook.

For Brook to win it would be a be a bigger deal.Hagler was on the slide when SRL fought him.for brook to win It will be like curry honey or maybe Tyson Douglas.Fair play to brook He has ***** like Kong but he is in deep

 

and, also, leonard had plenty of time to bulk up (as much as he could). brook going straight to middleweight is something else. man, i can't believe all those *****es running around at middleweight, and it's brook, of all people, that jumps right in. maybe it's like a latter day monzon- (old) napoles.
