Punches that are very unique to a specific fighter, who performs them completely differently or just far better than anyone else. Zab Judahs defensive uppercut - Thing of beauty when he connects it, instinctively covers up and uppercuts when under pressure, very nice Lucian Bute's uppercut to the body - Thrown at almost chest height at times, he gets great power and speed in this punch and has put a good deal of opponents on the floor There are of course more obvious ones, Mays Checkhook, Wlads jab etc, but any other ones you can think of that you really like?
Berto's uppcut :O The way Bradley throws his hooks to the body - LOL Maidana's overhand right. Jerry cooney's left hook Jones Jr - every punch. All boxers throw their punches differently
Yes I'd put it with the hook, however there are a lot of fighters that throw lead rights (though admittedly not as well), but I can't really think of anyone who throws check/leading hooks in the manner he does.
Definitely, but if you were to put motion-capture equipment on Mayweather and have him perform a check hook and it was shown via computer graphics, I'd still know it was his. Convoluted eh?
The straight right is his most accurate punch, but Mayweather always had a heavy left hand, and generates serious power with that left hook which was his specialty earlier in his career, he just throws it less these days, since he evolved defensively as he moved up in weight
Fantastic! :happy I believe he got a warning for that, but if you're holding you have it coming in my book!
