Jeff Mayweather, one time trainer of Kevin "THE KINGPIN" Johnson has submitted the necessary documents to us at Team Kingpin about having KINGPIN on the undercard.

The fight will either be off television, more-than-likely a swing bout, or as the first fight of the main PPV.

The fight will be either 10 or 12 rounds, depending on the rest of the card.

No opponent has been named as of yet, but the list we were submitted included:

    Gerald Washington
    Dominic Breazele
    Bowie Tupou

He was suppose to face Joshua the week before so he'd obviously have to pull out of that fight.

He'd be a nice opponent for Breazelle and Washington, they are prospects looking to move up and Johnson has become the kind of guy prospects beat to get to the next level.

As much as I use to like Johnson I hope he gets nowhere near a tv slot. This is a big night for boxing and Johnson's incredibly negative style could kill of potential future fans.

Kingpin on a bad day still probably beats Tupou and Washington with relative ease, on a good day he gives Breazele a boxing lesson, on a bad day he loses a close decision.

Joshua is scheduled to fight April 4, 2015.

Easily possible for KINGPIN to take that fight and in less than a month, fight again.

And I think (MY OPINION) they are using KINGPIN to hype or build up the prospects.

Johnson vs. Tupou might not be too bad actually, considering Tupou is basically the same exact person as Alex Leapai (who made for one of Kingpin's TV-friendliest opponents and even resulted in a rare stoppage for him)

Leapai v.s Tupou, what a fun fight that would be... While it lasted. Johnson seems to have his way with Polynesians, he also stopped Haumono. Think he would probably stop Tupou as well as you suggested. He might want to change his nickname to "The Polynesian killer" :D

Eddie Hearn has been talking about Joshua Johnson as basically being a done deal for the 25th. Joshua has been injured so will have a tune up on the 4th.

Breazelle and Wahsington using Johnson to hype themselves up? Very possible, even though Johnson is slipping into opponent territory he would still be a tall order for both those guys. I would be a bit surprised to see either guy face Johnson next.

At least make him still fight Joshua. It would be immensely better and more interesting than any other opponent listed, no disrespect.

Kingpin vs Washinghton would be on par with the most boring fights you've ever seen - Lewis - Tua, Wlad - Ibragimov, Wlad - Haye etc.

A chess match from Kingpin, and Washinghton is limited and lacks skills.

Breseale beats Kingpin easlily now, for sure.
