Great fight but I have a hard time seeing it happen but would love to be wrong.

Figured Maidana would get a rematch but if its Maidana-Thurman it will be inteesting to see who Mayweather fights.

You have Khan saying he won't go that date, Porter with a mandatory, and Top Rank off limits. So that leaves Garcia, Matthysee and Martinez-Cotto winner as a long shot. I guess that leaves Garcia as the favorite.

But, a Mayweather fight is a big as it gets and there's a lot of money at stake so almost anything realistic is possible.

I still think Maidana might be the favorite to actually face Mayweather but I'd prefer Maidan-Thurman and let Mayweather face a new opponent.

Floyd - Bradley would be nice (now that Oscar and Fossil Bob have hugged it out)

Thurman - Maidana would be terrific (better than the main event, imo)

Floyd doesn't fight for GBP, so the reconciliation of Bob and Oscar means nothing to him.

Floyd is running out of cherries to pick and the casual fans are starting to notice as well.

They have an affiliation. Golden Boy is still making money off of him, if I'm not mistaken.

And Fossil Bob is running out of opponents for Bradley. The matchup between Tim and Floyd seems like a sensible compromise for the two promotional powers to come to as an early stage reconciliation tester.

1.There nothing stopping him training during Ramadan.

2.Theres 6 weeks between the end of Ramadan and the 9th of Sept..the usual time of a training camp.

3.Hes just fought, hes in good shape as of right now, he doesnt balloon up between fights.

4.Muslims dont waste away during Ramadan! They eat 2 big meals a day instead of 3-4 smaller ones. It only last 1 month.

If Khan is able to get terms with Mayweather, he'll fight him.

Maybe he'll fight on the undercard.

Have you ever fasted before from sunrise to sunset, without drinking any water either? Especially considering the days are very long now and the heat is at its peak.

His body will need re-adapting, and he needs to be as ready as possible for that fight with more training.
Eating 2 big meals is not good for you either, for you to think so, you must be very out of shape breh lol

    I think it'll be:
    Mayweather vs Garcia
    Maidana vs Thurman
    or
    Mayweather vs Maidana II
    Garcia/Porter vs Thurman

You think 6 weeks isnt enough time to adapt to a very minor change?

Its only fro a month, how much strength do you think you lose in one month from eating 2 large meals compared to 3-4 small meals?

A reasonable amount. 2 large meals are unhealthy, 3 large meals are unhealthy too.
When I fast, I lose 8lbs and when I was a little younger, I lost a stone. I used to eat like the Man vs Food guy after fasts.
His body will be weak and need strengthening (S&C is important), as well as that there's training for the actual fight itself. It's just not realistic.

    - Maybe there is a way around it....

I hope Amir does what is right and chooses not to take the fight personally (I'm someone who wants the Mayweather vs Khan fight more than most, considering I'm British Asian like Amir and have supported him since 2004 Olympics).
