I'm just saying that's why Tyson was so good.. he was fast.. obviously Ali had speed and jab.. and thus power..

    Force x Speed = Power

    Tyson also had force

When I was a young lad of 92, I watched these fights and said to myself, "Ali is a Heavyweight that moves like a Welterweight".

Whatever so and so said.. they got beat..

Everyone gets beat but Ali had most loses avenged of undefeated rematch.. Louis the most rematches avenged.. and probably SRR the most losses avenged or something..

Obviously Rocky Marciano that's they one.. not white guys.. slugs.. if he fought Floyd Patterson or Sonny Liston.. he surely woulda got beat by 1 or both..

It's all about restrictions.. a stance is because you're trying to make your feet like a jab.. instead of square on..

Similarly Andre Ward is the master of that.. he's got a great jab no doubt.. but his footwork is freestyle.. it's square.. it's linear it's everything..

Speed don't mean ****! In boxing speed is equal to power. Timing and quickness are more important. Quickness is in the mind.

You're 100% correct in one of your views, of course speed and power are nice and all but timing is far more important and makes speed and power go from nice attributes to great attributes.

Give me an Iron Chin and I will show you a fighter who can be in the fight for all 12 rounds and KO a tired speedster any day.

Iron chin doesn't win any fights if that's all you have as a true strength. There's so many important skills, timing, stamina, smarts and defense will take one a long way. If you also have true talent , dedication and a real chin (recouporative ability) you're a Hof bound atg.

It has long been proven that a Chin is the most important attribute to have in Boxing. It is #1.

He moves like Floyd. If Ali was fighting today, he would be called a runner. More people were knowledgeable about boxing back then.
