    Good one.

Super Zab Judah . He had his moments of being too predictable as well.

Oh yeah! Put some intelligence in the mix and you have a potential ATG. Like a pitcher that can throw 100 mph but has a great 75 mph change up, add in accuracy and you have something special. Bottom line, when it comes to fighters you need a lot of things to get to the top. How much importance can a person put on heart? A fighter can have timing, speed, power and IQ but, it don't mean jack if he lacks heart. Of course a fighter with heart but little skill will be a gatekeeper for a young fighter with 5-10 fights. That's what makes boxing such a great sport, when something intangible becomes apparent to the viewers. Witnessing the heart of Diego Corrales get up the second time in the tenth round to stop Castillo later in the same round! Heart reveled! Amazing!

i'll still pick speed and power over timing and power. it will take a while to get a timing down on another skilled boxer, the only time jmm timed pac was on the 1st kd on their 4th fight.

tarver-rjj wouldn't be a good example since rjj had a glass jaw.

The most important aspects are chin and reflexes. BY FAR. Some guys have good offensive reflexes but not so much defensively. Some guys have both. Floyd Mayweather has both. Then he has the speed to match his reflexes.

In boxing history, I believe iron chins have been more useful than huge power.

I will take speed power over muscle mass power anytime. Speed is power. I know many of you will disagree and that is alright. I have used this example for years. If I lob a baseball to you underhanded, you would have no injury or difficulty catching it bare handed. If I throw it fast and full power over handed, you could get a broken hand catching it. It is after all the same baseball but the speed makes the difference. Ali destroyed Foreman and nullified Foreman's power with his speed. Tyson punched hard because he had speed. So did Shavers. Just with anything else there are exceptions but for me, speed is king. The great ones all had it.

I agree about timing, but with timing the speed could equate to power, even if the person behind the punch isn't throwing with the same tenacity as another.

From my observation Brook's Speed just gave Golovkin even more fire and determination to destroy him .

He really did look like he was trying end Brooks Career and beat the life out of him .

Triple G mentally is bulletproof , he does not break down or fold when he sees another fighter is outclassing him .

    That's a very good sign .

I had the fight even before Triple G took matters into his own hands and Broke Kell Brooks face .

going for speed tends to put you off balance which will decrease your power

Wtf, it's NOT #1 every great fighter has a very good (at least) to great chin.

That's top 5 attribute but if that's ones best attribute he will never be a true atg
