You really think Dirrell hits harder than Pascal?

And I'm not saying Oganov was in the fight.. I'm saying Dirrell fought stupid. Unloading like a Sugar Ray in the fight round and looking stupid the nest 3 rounds getting hit with stupid shots. If Froch can get in free shots like that he'll KO Direll. Froch might not be for real.. but his power sure is.

1 fight, come on now man, you cant assess a fighter from 1 fight, that doesn't make sense, all Im saying is dont sleep on this guy, he is going to shine...

I hear what your saying DaveyScan. I think Pascal was doing a lot of arm punching against Froch so his punches looked hard but I dont think they was as hard as everybody seems to make out.

Dirrell probably does not hit harder but he sure has alot more snap on the punch and It's more a punch that makes you reset, similar to when Floyd hits fighters with that straight right. It makes you reset.

Dirrell I would say fought the fight that he needed to to win against Oganov, I would say that Oganov was the one who fought stupid, not changing his approach for the entire fight. Dirrell threw too many shots that he did not need to but he did get the job done eventually and he showed good stamina, considering the amount of punches he actually threw so early in the fight.

He fights the same fight versus Frioch and he'll get KOd in the first five rounds.

    I like your optimism lol,

No but seriously, I really cannot see him being that stupid against Froch but judging off what he seems to do in most fights I think Froch can definitely get to him and hit him with some hard shots but this fight is probably going to be a good fight and may end similar to Froch vs Taylor but it could go either way, I still give the edge to Dirrell.

WorldsGreatest.. watch his non-fight against Curtis Stevens.. if he "fights" like that against Froch.. he'll have a chance. But not in England.

Who did Frankie Randal beat before he beat Chavez Sr ?

You cant go by that logic. a contender has always got a chance to cause an upset against a champion.

I hate hearing this, "who has he beaten argument, it doesn't make sense".

You cant use that logic. Names is names but styles make fights...

Pascal is a fast fighter and allot stronger than Dirrell and Froch found a way to win so I dont think the speed factor will be that much of problem as Froch has a nice long jab to keep the distance.

Froch will have to get his timing right to offset the speed disparity and quicken his foot work and maybe fight a bit like Wlad Klit.

Oganov was one of the most padded fighters of all time who was stopped by Zuniga.

The same small SMW Zuniga who Bute annihilated. And was stoped by Pavlik at 160.

The Oganov win means jack **** IMO, you are obviously a Dirrell fan which is fair enough, but Froch has shown he can deal with fast figthers (Taylor is a better boxer than Dirrell for sure)

I actually think Dirrell has a better chance than most. I DO think he can keep it up for 12 rounds, and that he can stifle Froch's attack.

But in Nottingham? If Froch survives he wins, and if he lasts to the end Dirrell better stay on his toes.

Chavez was WAY past prime though. Froch is in the prime of his life.

I'm going to admit I've never seen any Dirrell fights, but Froch is possibly the strongest man at 168. Not the best boxer but a real heavy hitter and a very tough man. Whatever Dirrell's got in his arsonel is going to be tested like never before.
Dirrell has a very good chance though. Froch struggled to cope with Taylor's speed, in fact he never really did cope with it until Taylor wore down, and if Dirrell's as quick as you guys are making out Frochy will probably get hit alot.
D's got to contend with Froch's home advantage and a very mentally strong, powerful and 'proud warrior'.

Anyway, everyone said Taylor would make Froch look foolish. YOU CAN NEVER COUNT FROCH OUT!!!
