I wouldn't say that, but I have been saying that Spence's power is VASTLY overrated. He's never been a one punch guy, he KO's guys on accumulation, and since he's so good at cutting of the ring he gets the job done more often than not. Although anyone with a powerful jab decent footwork and solid defense can avoid his more damaging punches and probably make it to the final bell. Pac could have KO'd Algieri, but he lacks the killer instincts he used to have, and he doesn't but the ring off as well, hell Provodnikov probably would have as well and quicker than Spence, if he had even close to a clue as to how to cut off a ring. But by no means is Spence a one punch guy, and anyone who believes that, they're deluding themselves.
that is a testament to mikey garcia. spence knew what he had in front of him, he caught glimpses of what could happen. his team had a great gameplan and spence stuck to it. the only time spence felt it was safe enough to push for stoppage, mikeys superior defense kept him from getting overpowered. spence knew he hadnt hurt him and got back on the gameplan. spence is a complete fighter easily on p4p top 5 level.
