Spence fighting GGG??

that is a whole lotta ifs.

 

Spence is the real deal. Not just really good but the real deal and this is going to come to light as he starts getting the fights he deserves. At this stage, when Spence puts on some more weight and steps up I think GGG will be too old and Spence will win. What is so unfortunate about GGG is they are going to come to fight him as he gets to 35 and older. Kind of BS, I think, but he will be getting some big paydays as he closes in on retirement.

 

Spence's trainer talks about Spence fighting GGG. He has a huge problem with GGG and Abel Sanchez. He's always putting down GGG, and he was furious with Sanchez for saying that Spence should wait a few fights to get more experience before fighting Brook. But Sanchez is also always saying Spence is one day gonna be the top welter, would knock out Danny Garcia today, and that Spence reminds him of Terry Norris (who Sanchez trained). So I think Spence's trainer might have a screw loose, or he's worried Sanchez might steal Spence. Or both.

 

For all we know Spence can be a KO waiting to happen. Let's not jump the gun here.

 

I hope so. Golovkin would murder Swoll Nips.

 

What's the point of that? Maybe once he slowly moves up in weight and adjusts to the higher weights, if Golovkin is still fighting he can use him as a big name on his resume.

 

young hungry and virtually unknown is always dangerous. Thats why nobody is really to eager to fight this guy.

Yeah. I dont understand how Spence has beaten absolutely nobody but a lot of people have him annointed the next big thing. These same people turn around and then call other fighters "hype jobs" which is laughable and hypocritical. Im a Spence fan but until i see him in the ring against a top level fighter im going to withhold judgement on what i think he is. As far as him fighting GGG in the next year thats just crazy. Lets wait and see what he does against Brook to get a better gauge on how good he is. I cant believe people are writing brook off so easily. The dude can fight.

 

I think GGG is nearing the end 2-3 fights. He's accomplished a lot and don't think he'll be around beyond 2018.

I do agree Spence is the real deal...I think Thurman or potentially down the line a Canelo fight is more likely.

Spence will be very lucky if he gets by Brook................most think Brook will beat him. Spence would have no chance against Golovkin.................
