Mikey took a tremendous amount of punishment because his defense was lacking. He was out boxed and out punched. Mikey's skills didn't save him, his chin did.

If you really believe the stuff you just posted? You should watch other sports. Just cause Spence didn't tko or ko a much smaller Garcia doesn't mean his power was overrated. Canelo couldn't stop a smaller Matthew Hatton at junior middleweight in which means what? Canelo power was overrated? You just a biased Khan fan that really don't know boxing.

Mr. ''He Hits Like a LHW'' couldn't even wobble a blown up 135 pounder who is pudgy Pete down at that weight, was fighting in his 5th weight class after coming up from 126 and had about as much right being up at 147 as Elton John does of winning Heterosexual Male of the Year.

Not sure about the last bit, pressure with average punch power I would say, picks his shots well and always chips away at the body..He imo is not a power puncher, educated relentlessness I would more agree with !

After watching the highlights of Spence vs Garcia it appeared as though Spence couldn't put his weight into his punches, because Garcia was being evasive. I didn't see any combinations that landed, and Garcia didn't appear hurt at anytime. Spence's inability to utilize his power was due to Mikey's defensively minded tactics.

Anyone who questions Spence's power is an idiot. This says more about Mikeys chin than Spence's power.

You guys know better. It's extremely hard to stop a fighter that is adamant that he doesn't want to be stopped and is in survival mode.
    2. His corner wanted to stop the fight, that right there should tell you Spence put enough of a beating on him that it should've been stopped.
    3. Mikey simply has a good chin, you can't stop everyone. Look at Pac vs. Cotto, does anyone dispute Cotto was a heavy handed *******? Yet, he couldn't stop tiny Pac. It's not always a power deficit.

The fight was so comprehensively dominated by Spence, you might as well count this as a de facto stoppage. Spence's power is legit, I have no questions regarding it.

I thought the fight was veering towards stoppage but not because garcia was taking this hellacious beating or anything, but because he had nothing to give and wasnt throwing. People must be new to boxing, golovkin canelo took a worse beating in there second fight, pacquiao morales, pacquiao marquez. This was nothing, he took some punches yea, not some hellacious beating though. The only thing that is likely to change him as a fighter is going down in weight which a lot of fighters agree is riskier than going up. But we're going to pretend garcia took some career ending beating.

Gents, please. Duran went FIFTEEN rounds with Marvin Hagler IN MARVIN'S PRIME and almost won the fight. I had Mikey rated as the #3 fighter in the world coming in, he hasn't dropped far.
