Spence has a dreadful defense

This is true and I even compare Spence getting stunned almost to what Corley did to FlIVd but FlIVd didnt have the benefit of the bell getting him out of trouble. That being said the thing about Spence is 1 its surprising to have him rocked like that especially from a guy like Lartey who cant crack an egg and 2. Spence hasn't been thrown in with any big punchers with the exception of maybe Brook who's power is very overrated. Its as if his people know he doesnt have the best chin. We could be wrong but its still a question.

 

He won’t get in the ring with him let alone drop him.

 

Duran doesn't count. Because you could compare anybody to Duran to make them look bad.

Don't think they are afraid to put him in the ring with someone who can crack. I mean Thurman, Garcia and Porter wasn't trying to fight him. Not Spence fought.

 

He does get nailed with right far too often but it won't be an issue vs Garcia.

 

Both boxed near even, but Spence was tougher and killed Brook to the head and body. You can talk all you want about Spence having bad defense, but it’s just wishful thinking. Mikey will not beat him.

 

Mikey called out Spence over and over, just like Rigo called out Loma and he will get treated the same way. As for chin, Spence took a lot of great shots from Brook and was still standing so that should answer that question. Never heard of Spence ducking any fighter but he has been ducked by all the top welters except Crawford and that fight will happen.

 

I applaud Mikey G 4 taking on the future GREAT Spenny Spence at 147 and hope that he somehow comes out of this with a draw.
