Yeah. I supoose he should be more like the average ESB'er and say. "I ain't shet. I ain't never been shet and will never be shet". Humble.
Why is there always so much hate when someone tries grabbing the brass ring? Embrace it and see where the kid goes....Spence/Crawford/Verdejo all seem to be very big deals. Bring it on
Love all the fighters you mentioned I honestly feel Verdejo is far and away the best, (will prove to be great) fighter since tito out of the DR. Great run we're going to witness. Might not prove to have the crippling ww and jmw power tito processed but I feel he's much more talented in every other area which most trump strictly power
honestly though he has a better chance than the rest of them imo, but he's no floyd clone infact hes prob closer to Pac than Floyd.
:deal I'm shocked to hear CST80 say that about Spence. Out of all those guys he actually is the one that people are running from and trying not to fight. Spence is like Ward more than Floyd, but I guess like in all Black culture in America he is guilty by association.:-( :nonoShame
I like Spence a lot more than Ali or Imam, and I think he has a hell of a lot of potential, but I just don't like a lot of these guys being pushed or pushing themselves as the next Mayweather. He doesn't have the personality to be a star, his style isn't exciting enough for him to be a star. Yet he gets hyped all the time on here and many other sites like he's the second coming, and based on what exactly? He' failed to beat Cruz as impressively as Mikhaylenko, he failed to beat Lartey as well as Vasquez Jr. he was pretty badly hurt by Lartey as well. His big wins are Phil Lo Greco and Chris Van Heerden who I can almost guarantee no one even knew about on this site. You have to see it from my POV every guy I do a thread on gets bashed by many posters even when they have far more impressive resumes, yet Spence is treated like the second coming when he's yet to beat anyone of note. If he can beat Chris Algieri convincingly I'll jump on his bandwagon and do a thread on him, but I'm not buying it yet. I think Porter would beat him from one side of the ring to the other at this point. Yet a lot of people are saying he's capable of beating guys like May and Pac which is ridiculous.
