To me what has been put out is sufficient. Although the doctor cannot go into details about Spence, he can say whether he recommended that Spence cannot fight or not.
Despite this you will still get idiots on here doubting the retina injury was legitimate. Pacquiao got sparred an ass kicking from Erroll Spence Jr but this does not mean Ugas won’t beat Pacquiao.
You can't answer a simple question. Did PBC get a Dr. to pretend to do surgery for a torn retina? You need to drop your emotional connection to this.
Don't pretend all this isn't your dream scenario. Manny was set to face, a younger, bigger, stronger elite opponent that you yourself probably felt was a step too far for The Pac Man at the age of 42 and after two years out of the ring - but that opponent pulls out of the fight with an injury. Of course, you're gonna want people to believe it was faked and Spence ducked and then award Manny victory via TDO (Technical Duck Out). It avoids the painful possibility Spence would beat up a middle aged man (and a legend let's be clear), you avoid the pain of watching it and suddenly you have endless opportunities to gloat and claim a moral victory. It's like Christmas, your birthday and the lifting of the restraining order all rolled into one. Deep down you know you have no good reason to doubt the reputation of this doctor but you need to discredit him to keep the above narrative alive. That's what's going on here...
So much wrong w/ your post. I LOVED this fight and I'm pissed that it ain't happenining. Win or lose, Pac would go out in a blaze of glory. A losing effort to Spence means a lot more than a losing effort to Ugas because as you said, Spence is bigger, stronger, elite, undefeated, and the much more prestigious opponent in all ways. And I've maintained from the very beginning — Pac will light up Spence and the outcome of the fight is dependent on Pac's tank. Can he knock Spence out or hurt Spence badly enough to change the outcome of the fight before his tank inevitably gives out? And I've also said that out of the 3 rumored opponents (Mikey and Crawford), Spence is the easiest fight based on styles. And now Ugas is in there and I don't like this fight because he's not a big name and his style can be a huge problem for an old Pac. Yes, he's a harder fight for Spence, but as you can probably tell from the reception, a victory over him won't mean as much as one over Spence even though in reality, it's pretty even (Ugas is Porter's biological daddy and Porter took Spence into deep waters). If it is indeed Pac's last fight, win or lose, Ugas is a whimper and Spence was a bang.
He acts all confident...but this thread clearly indicates otherwise. He wants to believe Pac scared a younger, stronger fighter in to faking an injury, and that they attached a Dr's name just to make it LOOK legit. Poor kid has no idea what the real world is like.
No, I can't answer that question because I don't know the doctor personally and have no idea if he would lie. Just like you can't say that he wouldn't because he went to Johns Hopkins. Many people who have attended prestigious institutions have committed fraud/crimes, though. And he's not famous and a leader in his field. Now you answer this question — has it actually been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that Spence had a torn/detached retina? The only answer is NO.
You're a silly little man. I just want proof. You know no proof has been provided. Why are you against proof?
1) No, he really can't say anything unless he's authorized to. 2) The doctor hasn't given a direct statement or said anything.
Of course it's legit. With that said this why I said Spence shouldn't show anyone **** because the Spence haters and some Pac fans already have their minds made up. No matter what evidence or proof he presented it wouldn't suffice and he's faking and ducking Pac in their minds.
