Never said the doctor was lying. The doctor hasn't said anything. That's what I'm looking for, dummy!!! LOL!!!
Sure that’s possible. But you’re telling me that the retina tear wasn’t discovered in the hundreds of medical checkups shortly after the car crash? It wasn’t discovered in the pre-fight for danny garcia. It wasn’t discovered post-fight medical exam for Danny? And it wasn’t discovered months before the Pac fight? They had to wait until 11 days out? Sure, maybe, but the timing is suspicious. Could have been discovered by another doctor (not commission) and he pointed it out to the commission doc when he felt he shouldn’t go ahead with it. 11 days out is pisstake. And all the hypocrites here saying “how dare you question the legitimacy of a fighters injury claims”, whilst lying through their teeth, til this day! Even with the doctors confirmation, they still claim Pac didn’t have an injury vs Floyd. pls
Do you not know the difference between a torn retina and a sore shoulder??? One injury you can fight with the other you have to cancel the fight because you can't and it's career threatening. It's not hard to see the difference here, quit being ridiculous.
How can one use the word suspicious when Pacquiao's shoulder wasn't an issue until after the fight? And it certainly wasn't during the fight.
It is possible. There is a video out and the doctor that specializes in the retina did say that the retina can rupture without warning. As far as timing and all that goes. It's very difficult for me to believe Spence pulled out due to fear. Or his team decided to let Ugas fight and possibly beat Manny so Spence can have an easier fight for the belt. When it's all said and done, it may all come do to bad luck bad timing.
MLB pitchers pitch through torn rotator cuffs all the time and then they go on the injured list. Are they screaming in pain on the mound? Curt Schilling pitched through 7 innings when his ankle tendons were temporarily binded and blood soaked through his sock. He limped throughout the game and all the pressure goes into his ankle during his landing. Adrenaline carries these guys through the pain. And that's just a baseball game. Also, Pac mysteriously broke from camp and he requested a toradol shot prior to the fight, so no, it wasn't until after the fight.
Since when is Bob Bennett a trusting source? He defended the Mayweather/Canelo scorecard He defended the GGG/Canelo scorecard I don't deny that Spence's injury is 100% legit, but let's not use Bob 'Loves a bribe' Bennett as a validation tool.
Pitcher don't perform at the same level with they have torn rotary cuffs. The toradol request could have been for something as minor as a headache.
Am I right in believing this Dr Kelly that examined Spence & stated that due to a "Retinal tear/break" he was deemed unfit to fight. But Spence did not actually have surgery until 2 days later & it was performed back in Dallas?? Did Dr King actually perform the surgery , or was it someone else ???? The surgeon who did the repair is the one we need to hear from
Spence didn't need more time. He was ready to go! Spence didn't cancel the fight. Nevada State Commission wouldn't sanction the fight! That was the reason Spence went and got two other doctors opinion. He wanted this fight bad, and was still willing to go fight knowing of this injury. Yet these idiots are saying he ducked smh!
Dude, my point is that you wouldn't be able to tell Pac was injured because adrenaline carried him through. We know for a FACT that he had a rotator cuff injury.
Strong denial. He didn’t go up to nsac and ask for paracetamol ffs, he asked for a shot to his shoulder. “We now know, based on information released by Top Rank after the fight, that Pacquiao hurt his shoulder during a training session in April. Top orthopaedic doctors in Los Angeles examined Pacquiao and prescribed the anti-inflammatory drug Toradol and rest. When Pacquiao arrived at the MGM Grand for the match, he requested permission from the Nevada Athletic Commission to get another Toradol shot, a request which the NAC denied.” Pacquiao’s advisors notified the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency of the injury, according to the statement, and detailed the “treatments being proposed,” including a possible injection of the anti-inflammatory Toradol, a non-steroidal prescription medication. “Manny continued to train, and his shoulder improved, though not to 100%,” the statement read. “This is boxing, injuries happen, and Manny is a warrior.” This is the same Usada that gave Floyd tue 21 days after the fight btw. If you can’t see anything suspicious about that, I got a bridge to sell you.
