Seen spence fight a couple of times. He actually not a power puncher he has been stopping fighters on volume. He has fast hands and throws good combo body and head but is no one punch ko artist. When he steps up he may stuggle as ive seen him catch low level opponents over and over with flush shots and to little effect

Spence gets hit too much for my liking. Maybe that'll tighten up once they start putting hi in with guys who aren't complete no-hopers.

Sickens me the kind of treatment these guys get, then we act surprised when they fall apart under adversity.

I love to see this fight if Spence beats some guys in the top 15 at WW. I think Spence has the goods everyone has good things to say about him. I think he will live up to the hype.

Damn dude you used Olympic competition as proof that Spence is not good? Really..... Thurman was an amateur boxer at one point.....How far did he get? It sure as hell wasn't no Olympics dude....so why don't you mention the names of the people who whipped Thurman's ass when he was an amateur....

Thurman's style is MUCH more suited to the pros and he was an Olympic Trials runner-up.

So he missed the Olympic Team by one loss. Considering that most of our Olympians lose in their first Olympic fight, that's not a huge difference in levels.

Nothing from his career Pro/amateur so far suggests anything yet. He's eventually gonna get countered over the top hard going to the body from the distance that he does.

He needs to step up his comp first. He didn't KO Broner, he did apparently work him over a bit, but of course he's a much larger guy, that's not out of the realm of possibility.

exactly if you want to deserve hype then do something special in the amateurs or in the pros

he didn't do it in the amateurs and has only fought cans so far in the pro's

but you got the same casuals on here who heard he did great in sparring and is the next p4p:lol:

Hmmm Haymon has two of his unproven guys drumming up drama between each other. Good way to get Spence (and Thurman) some marketing. Spence will be the next Haymon fighter getting $1 million for fighting bums, it's only a matter of time

Spence apparently never said that. Was a fake social media account. Doesn't sound like something he would say.
