    To be fair, he was at the top of the 152 rankings in the US for a few years IIRC. 3 consecutive National open class titles in the seniors, idk about juniors. Not sure about Golden Gloves either. Point is for at least 3 years he was easily the best welterweight amateur in the U.S., which happens to be the country with the most legitimate/lineal champions in pro boxing.

    Since he turned pro he's kept busy (8 fights in 2013, 5 this year) though I wish he was fighting real fighters. But still, the kid does have accomplishments and he'll definitely win titles in the pros.

    He's a prospect, this is the route all pro take. Mayweather took it, Cotto took it, De LA Hoya took it.

    All prospect fight tomato cans in the first few fights. Loo what happened to Lomancheko jumping into the shark den in his first fight as a pro.

    So error spence is the same ilk of karim mayfield and Orlando cruz. I think thurman would knock him out.

    Spence just bodied Vargas tonight...impressive.

    i noticed that Thurman got up after the Garcia fight, i guess he didn't want to see what Spence does for a living.

    Thurman definitely doesn't want to be bodied.
