No broken bones, but worse than originally thought? Sounds like maybe brain injury, maybe affecting memory, co-ordination etc... Pure speculation, I know, but let's hope it's not anything too serious. Spence jnr has huge potential left to fullfill and it'd be a shame for the sport if he and Crawford didn't get it on next year, or the year after. Hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.
How I understood it from available bits and pieces of information, Spence was ejected from the car, then he landed with his feet on the ground (sick, talking about luck ) was not able to keep his balance, obviously, and then kind of run and fall face down. And, when hitting the ground, his teeth got injured. We don't know how many of them. It could be just several or the most of his front teeth.
Spence is a vain man and I think that his face is scarred up and he doesn't want to be seen until it's fixed or he can come to terms with it.
Possible leg, hip or spinal injuries? Ejected from car and landed on his feet? Did he go through the windshield? Crazy story and I'm surprised there isn't more information or leaks about what happened.
It could be anything, they keep the information very limited. No, not through the windshield, most probably. The car was a convertible.
Ahhh makes sense, I'm thinking if he landed on his face there could be structural damage to the bones in his face, nasty stitches and scar tissue involved.
I'm not judging Spence, but damn, what a dumb dumb decision he made. he was the champ, had everything, the belt, the great family... why would u screw all that up
