I find it hard to believe there are no serious injuries, after being ejected through the roof top of the car at 100+ mph. He either landed on his back(spinal damage), or in a prone position which means he would have suffered head/brain injuries I do not think he will be fighting again which is tragic considering his talent. I will never forget how he made Kell Brook bow down on one knee and beg for mercy
His grandma said there wasn't any internal damage or broken bones. But something must be going on that they are so quiet
If you aren't joking then you're a total fool. He should be banned from driving for life at the very least.
The human body is capable of a lot of things, even if it is quite fragile. Just look at Vinny Pazienza. But yea, there is no way Spence wasn’t injured.
There is a massive f'in difference between being banned from driving and "looking at serious charges"
That could still include all sorts of things. Could have dislocated his knee or hip. Could have all sorts of ligament damage.
You didnt say it was serious, you said he was looking at "serious charges" any minute. You implied you actually knew something. He'll probably get a driving ban, thats it.
Whats the most severe penalty you've ever heard of that involved someone crashing their own car and no one else being hurt?
Spence Jr created an Instagram post which he later deleted when he left hospital so doubt he has serious brain damage although there could still be brain related issue that would cause him difficulties getting a license. More likely though he either cuts or burns that would make fighting difficult or, even more likely, he has eye damage that makes it very unlikely he could box again. I think eye damage is the most likely thing that fits in with that Facebook post if the information in it is accurate.
No life-threatening injuries doesn't mean no long-term effects, and remember: boxing is cruel, anything but 100% puts you in grave danger. I can imagine a million things not immediately apparent for doctors but coming up days late: - bad coordination due to various reasons - temporary loss of vision, double vision or having trouble focusing - some serious pain in neck, back, hands, legs whatever - PTSD, having hard time focusing, talking, concentrating etc. Whether surviving as a miracle or not, his bones, spines, brain, nerve system, senses, mental health all could've suffered due to experiencing extreme G-force and a violent landing. Hopefully none of it is true.
I'm so sorry to hear that (If) he cannot fight again. But Sorry to say as well that It's all his doing/done to himself. He's got nothing/nobody to blame but himself. Just thankful he did not hurt any other innocent bystanders/drivers.
