This kid is fast and hits hard. Can't wait to see what he does in 2016. Would like to see him fight the winner of thurman/porter.

I see Spence being avoided. High risk low reward bs that plagues boxing.

Yeah I'd like to see him against someone in the top 10. He in the top 10-15 region in most organisations so he should be someone's mando by late 2016 if he pulls of 2 decent wins in the first half of the year. I'd specifically want to see him vs a tricky counter puncher like Diego Chaves or an iron chin like Provodnikov.

Can't say anybody is avoiding Spence, when Spence ducked Aaron Martinez.

I don't see in Spence what a lot of people apparently do.....I literally nothing outright special about him. He's a good southpaw, I think he beats Sadam Ali but every other person in the top 10 has been vetted pretty thoroughly (Even Khan). At this stage, he'd still be up against it.

Martinez was allegedly the opponent for that last fight. Was in camp for two weeks, and then told Spence was going another direction. That's why we got Spence vs the overmatched Barrera in that last fight.

What else do you call it, when you line up an opponent, they start camp, and then you pull out?

147? You don't think his destiny lies at 154lb?

Charlo bros, Andrade, J-Rock...those are the match-ups we should be looking ahead towards.

Spence needs to be stepped up. He's been hittable against the bums he has faced so far. He seems to have tremendous offensive potential. That defense needs to be shored up a bit, but it's time to step him up. I'd take him over Saddam Ali, and Bradley. Bradley seems a little washed up to me. I don't really have enough information to even say how he would do against a mugger like Porter, or guys like Brook and Thurman. There are quite a few people jumping on the band wagon saying he would destroy Thurman. Just overzealous fans, jumping on the bandwagon. Thurman is very hittable, but Spence seems hittable as well, and he has only been fighting bums. Thurman takes a good shot. Can Spence take a good shot?

His body attack is sweet IMAO. I'm afraid they are managing him the wrong way a bit like Russell.

This. He has potential, but at the moment is too raw and would get exposed by the better fighters at 147.
