Let me note brook is my favourite fighter so there will probably be some un-intentional bias, but I like to think I'm an unbiased fan most of the time.

Brooks chin hadn't really been tested much and then he fought GGG. Obviously we know how that ended, But other than in round 1 where brook took a big shot and stumbled.. I think it's fair to say brook took the shots quite well? Yes his eye was mashed up but he seemed to be taking the shots well.

Spence doesn't hit like GGG. Spence has great pressure, Great power, but doesn't hit like GGG.

As a brook fan my initial sorry was will Brooks eye hold up? Both will get tagged a lot during the fight and this is Brooks first pro fight since the injury v a fighter capable of doing similar damage.

Anyway I can't see Spence KOing brook other than a body shot or late stoppage if brook starts gassing out at end of fight for whatever reason.

You had to go back 10 years !! and also forgot to mention how that fight ended.

Me, i'd rather look at how Brooks chin stood up to a murderous puncher two weight divisions above 147 in his most recent fight. That has far more relevance than watching some grainy old footage from another decade.

U failed big time asking wasn't algeris chin granite before he met Spence, enough said. Another poster already pointed out he got knocked down 6 times by PAC.

U make it sound like Spence is like GGG able to pressure brook all the time. Brook to win by ud or late stoppage. If Spence wins this fight then all props to him.

 

Golovkin would stop Spence too. I mean, really?

 

Brook took shots from the king of all kings, the Triple King, the Triple God Golovkin and yet we think Spence will crush Brook? hahahaha!!

 

I like Spence a lot, but the fanboys have lost their mind. Brook wins the fight decisively, just not easily. Brook hits just as hard as Spence and has better boxing skill and defense. In short, Brook is one standard deviation above Spence. Spence will get there in time, but just not on May 27

 

All things being equal he will spank Spence. But, this depends on him losing the weight without losing his energy. I still can't believe that Brook can cut that much weight. The bounce up to 160 and down again may affect him.

 

Not the same situation at all. Amir Khan got knocked down before Prescott, then get knocked out by Prescott and after that has had a career of being knocked out. Nobody says Khan has a weak chin because of Prescott, they say so because his career is one which shows a weak chin. One doesn't need to find a fight from 10 years ago to question Khan's chin.

Kell Brook has showed no such signs of a weak chin and the fact you need to go back years and years proves that point.

 

I have no issue with people picking Spence. What I find ridiculous is people claiming Spence will just walk through Brook as if Brook is some chump.

Someone that strong, that skilled and that accurate doesn't get walked through by anyone at 147.

GGG walked him down like he walks anyone down but to try and use this as an indicator of what Spence could do is quite simply laughable.
