    He stopped a fighter that could not be stopped by Provodnikov, Pacquiao, or be outboxed by Khan.

    Golovkin has never faced a guy that has faced elite competition before. Sad.

    GGG needs to step up or he'll continue to get dogged like this. You're going to see a lot of this for the Wade fight, especially if Wade crumbles like everybody thinks he will.

    Lemieux has been knocked out before right? Back to back from what remember. Golovkin beat a guy who won an vacant title. He was barely a beast. Algieri was stopped. Don't make me bump the threads of bums like you praising Pacman for fighting him. Same credit goes to Spence.

    I'm not thrilled with GGG's level of competition (or lack thereof,) but he's been taking on consistently better fighters for a while now.

    This was Spence's first "big name," and if he decides to go to the UK to fight Brook and beats him, than he'll have my vote as far as fighting better quality of opposition.

    Chris Algieri is a guy who nicked a win over Emmanuel Taylor, but otherwise failed every time he fought a top 10 contender. He is not an elite contender. If Golovkin had only fought Geale in the last 5 years he have a better record than Spence.
