As a Spence fan, and Floyd hater it pains me to say, but Errol is just a bit too slow on the trigger to have beaten a still prime Floyd.

 

This fight would look similar to Brook-Spence(people are going to get pissed, but it’s true). That Spence stands a very good chance against Mayweather.

Kell Brook, good fighter, but not in Floyd's world in terms of speed, skill, defense, chin, ring IQ, and stamina. I'd also say that Floyd is a lot physically stronger than Brook.

Brook's not a particularly smart fighter at all (not as dumb as Khan, but not especially smart either), he has no defense, and he has lead feet. He's overrated on this forum on an astronomical level.

How in the WORLD is it gonna look the same as the Brook fight?

 

I wouldn’t say Floyd’s a lot physically stronger than Brook though. Or that he has a better chin. They have a similar style in a lot of ways, even if Mayweather is better, that makes me believe Spence would have a good chance vs Mayweather. Brook loves his straight right, pull counter, and head control, as does Mayweather, Brook likes to employ the shoulder roll against the ropes, as does Mayweather, Neither likes to throw many punches, and both like to tie up a lot. Lots of similarities.

If you are expecting Mayweather to look more like the Pacquiao fight, don’t, because Pacquiao isn’t an inside fighter. Ortiz-Mayweather is closer, or even Cotto Mayweather, except Spence is more relentless, active, bigger.

There's lots of similarities between Kell Brook and Floyd the same way there's lots of similarities between Keith Thurman and Ray Leonard. That is to say, there's NOT!

You're literally comparing an all time great to a guy who's not even a top 50-60 all time welterweight.

I'm calling a spade a spade. Kell Brook is insanely overrated on this forum. It was inevitable that Spence was gonna piece him up, because Brook has more holes in his game than swish cheese and doesn't have much of a ring IQ, and I was on here telling the Brook fanboys that before the fight.

It's not at all comparable to what Spence would have to face from Floyd.

 

You don’t have the facts. Sorry, please don’t pretend otherwise. I picked Spence to beat Brook too, it was obvious with him coming down 13lbs off a beatdown. And Brook was and maybe still is overrated. Fact remains, in my eyes, I see similarities in how the fight would look. It doesn’t mean Spence wins, breaks Floyd’s eye socket and stops him late. I haven’t said anything on how it goes, Mayweather fights better off the ropes than Brook for instance, it would take more deliberation. But It’s just that “similarities” not clone, copy, exact. Floyd and Brook have similarities, ATG, bum, doesn’t matter. You’ll just have to live with that differing opinion and get off my balls.

Difference is Floyd won whilst Manny lost. When you win you can say what happened as it’s not an excuse, when you lose and make excuses you come across as a poor loser!

And btw, of course it's an excuse too. When you get a hotly disputed decision you can still make excuses for the fight being so close. Basically saying "I would have made it easier had it not been for my injury". Sounds exactly like an excuse.
