Spence says his willing to jump to Middleweight

It's for money. Can't blame him for that. Especially since GBP mentioned him once as a potential Canelo opponent.

 

Actually I give him a chance, still got to pick Canelo because of the weight jump, but stylistically he's got the tools to handle Canelo (and honestly enough size not to get sparked like Khan).

 

Canelo is too big and stylistically wrong for Spence.

Better than Trout for sure, Lara I think is the better boxer though which is the style that works against Canelo. I also think current Canelo > Trout Canelo.

 

Now Spence calling every one out like Mikey and then will probably fight Josesito lol.

 

Why do you think that matchup would stylistically favor Spence ?

Canelo struggled with movers like Floyd, Lara and Trout and Spence is a bit flat footed, imo Canelo is not only slightly bigger than Spence, he is also a better boxer and he would pick him apart with counterpunches, i can't think of many fighters who could go toe to toe with Canelo, the only one is probably Golovkin and maybe Derevyanchenko.

 

Canelo`s body would be a lot thicker at middle and he should absorb body shots better because of his thick trunk, but Spence is great at getting to the body, I agree with that.

 

He`d get hit way less by Lemieux though.

 

Of course it’s for money. Problem is Spence keeps wasting time waiting on fighters who are in no hurry to face him.

M. Garcia: Mikey’s not serious.
Bud: has to clean up his side of the street.
Pacquiao: on the wrong side of the street.
Canelo: barring a complete spanking from GGG, he will play the risk/reward game and freeze Spence out.

 

Canelo will ignore Spence for as long as possible. Only way he takes the fight anytime soon is if GGG knocks him quickly or dominates him this weekend.
