For the record, he fought Jacobs and GGG a while back, and Kovalev along with Smith definitely were cherry picks. Both were the weakest champions in their division. After beating a shot Kovalev, he dropped the title instead of fighting Bivol and Beterbiev who both called him out. Instead of fighting Benavedez , Billy Joe Saunders or Plant, he chose to fight the weakest link in Smith. Cherry picking at his finest.

We also saw this in the first half of the fight with Benavidez. Both fighters less skilled and talent than Spence who will take advantage of that. That is the biggest difference of these two. Spence has better discipline than Crawford and he's more fundamentally sound.
