I'll need to see Crawford at 147 first to make a solid pick, but right now I'm going with Crawford. Not by a lot; I see this as a 55-45 (odds) in Crawford's favor type of deal.

Um... Crawford was 155 against Gamboa. 158 against Diaz. Crawford is a big boy. Spence is probably 165+.

 

Size won't matter because Bud has true skills. And he comes into 140 fights close to 160 so size won't matter. Bud is one of the best conditioned athletes in the sport.

 

In my opinion- Crawford is the much better fighter, but I do not know if he will have the power to hurt Spence. I won't know anything until he faces some bigger opponents.

Spence has power and can take a shot, but would be, I think, out-boxed pretty badly for the early part of this matchup. On the other hand, I believe that Spence would be doing the greater damage- especially in the later rounds.

If they fought now, I think Crawford's mean streak would get him into trouble when he decides to mix it up with a fighter that's better built for that. Spence would have him in trouble and win a clear decision.

If Crawford does carry his power up, it's a different story and a much closer fight.
