I think this fight is something that hasnt happened in over a decade. Two real good fighters who will go at it and neither is passed their prime. Usually fights have one with a huge advantage. This will be a very good high quality fight from both sides. hard to bet on this fight.

Well Bud is 35, and that is past his prime. But I still think he'll win.

Great fight and hard to argue it ain’t the best in a long time in a p4p prime sense

35 these days is like 25 in the 80s

That might be pushing it but 35 today is definitely not what it was even say 15 years ago.

    Alvarez v GGG in 2017.
GGG was 35 like Bud. But both Alvarez and GGG were active fighters and neither had been in a near fatal car crash.

35 these days is probably the equivalent to 30 in those days

Both fighters are undefeated, both in top 5 P4P rankings, and this is for undisputed! Don't get any better than that!

Age don't always dictate prime! He's still prime and performing at a top level. He's ranked #1 on most sport p4p list and he's undefeated and still a champion.

I think even that is a bit extreme. I would say it's closer to 32. Staving off 5 years of father time in a few decades is a bit too extreme for me. A few years? For sure. Half a decade? Nah.

That was a good fight but i think these guys for this fight are way more athletic and agile than ggg or canelo for that fight. I would consider this a way more difficult and high level fight compared to canelo vs ggg.

Why fighters at 35 today are considered old, while in ancient eras they were already in decline at 30, it all depends on how much damage was done to them and how many fights they had.

Sorry, but age is the #1 predictor of prime. And depending on styles one of the leading indicators of decline.

I saw slippage in Crawford in his fight against Avanesyan.

You can watch it yourself. He's slower than usual. He was getting hit.

He should have dispatched this caliber of fighter with ease, but he didn't. Crawford is not in his prime anymore.

Probably the best 50/50 fight since Kovalev/Ward.
