Things are starting to get suspicious. There are videos online of Porter and his dad saying they signed the Porter vs Spence fight a month ago and are waiting in Spence to sign. If the Fury vs Wilder rematch is true then that means PBC and Top Rank worked together. Maybe they did a deal where one gets Wilder vs Fury and the other Crawford vs Spence. Or maybe they are getting Crawford and Spence set up after Porter vs Spence. If I'm Spence I am absolutely taking the Porter fight in August. Think it's a relatively easy fight for him and gives him two belts heading into TC fight. It will be an eternity before Thurman or Pac man fight either one. What's giving me pause is it seems like Spence would have signed that fight already. Danny Garcia, Pac man, Thurman or his only viable options on the PBC side besides Porter. But Crawford literally has nobody. His options are dried up, everyone is on the PBC side. Think after watching AJ mess up the Wilder pot Arum figured it's time to do business with PBC. Give them TC vs Spence and they can have Wilder vs Fury. Seems like Crawford needs Spence now. Still if I was TC I'd let Spence get Porter's belt first.
No thanks anytime soon. Haymon will freeze arum out of WW if he can and force Crawford to come to PBC for fights. Pac beats Thurman and that sets up Spence vs Pac. If you guys genuinely think Pac will duck Spence lol, the guy is a fighter with 100% belief in himself. His promoters might navigate him but I doubt Pac himself cares.
Pac fought a guy who was his absolute worst styles match up FOUR TIMES and in TWO of those contests, dude was juiced to the gills. Calling Pac a ducker is the worst and most ignorant statement a boxing fan can make.
Crawford is too busy beating up on one-hit wonder Aussie school teachers whose one hit was more a gift than a hit, peg-leg Mexican cripples who've been knee capped and can't move in and out of range effectively and have openly admitted their gammy knee is both painful and is a hindrance, and shot glass-jawed hasbeens who haven't fought a world class opponent in in 3 years, beaten one in 4, and who went life and death with and nearly got KO'd in their previous outing by a glorified journeyman with a KO 32%. And Spence is preoccupied with cleaning out the lightweight and junior-welterweight divisions of all their featherfists, preferably if they're 1-2 in the last 3 fights or should have been, and on the lone occasion he did square off with a world class opponent his own size they were coming off a stoppage loss, a bad beating, a terrible eye injury and gruesome surgery to repair it, and back down from 160 after bulking up to fight up there. But to be fair to Spence he is about to fight a world class opponent his own size for the second time of his career so credit where credit is due. Neither Crawford or Spence are particularly fond of facing legit punchers either.
