Why is this fight not happening? Is it a Ward vs Dirrell "we are friends" type deal or is one of them ducking?
The big fight like this one is difficult to happen nowadays. There are several factors involve to delay the fight such as promoter, manager, the sanction body, and money. They all want to make a lot of money. The fighters themselves sometimes are scared of losing their perfect records.
It's a shame that such a good fight could never happen because of promotional issues. But if these fighters keep signing with a promoter who will block the fight eventually you have to blame the fighters too.
