Now that's a rational statement when you compare his drawing power with Canelo, Pac, and Mayweather but considering where he is at in his career and who he was fighting, the numbers are not that bad. His numbers are on par with Crawford's at home.

It has more to do with SHO. SHO ratings are low. Only Wilder has cracked 1mil in recent years.
Spence has potential, but restricted by a very limited platform.

Most shows on SHO now do just a bit more than FNF did on ESPN.

Not good numbers but at least he had a good crowd that came to see him fight. He can be a a draw in his hometown if nothing else.

    Spence needs to ditch Haymon.
    Terrible promoter and manager.

Well it was on Showtime, I wonder what the numbers would have been like with the same opponent on ESPN.

Not awful numbers considering who he was facing. I'd say that's pretty solid, not great but far from awful.

Massive Contradiction. Wilder has shown it's possible to get 1M+ on Showtime. Showtime aint the issue, the Fighters dont get promoted, only two boxers in the sport as a whole are mainstream, that's Canelo and Joshua. Even then Canelo is reliant on his Mexican Fanbase and Joshua his British.
