I mean I guess Wilder took a nasty one sided beating in the 2nd Fury fight and came back for a tougher 3rd fight showing. That said Wilder has huge power and Fury go fatter

Someone who cares about Spence as a person and not just a fighter needs to convince him to stand down. Take a sabbatical, get right, move up to 154, whatever he needs to go. The first fight was almost as bad as Duran/Moore - you don't rematch fights like that.

And yes I know that Wilder got pummeled in 2 and did better in 3. Still, I think his career and life prospects also would have been better had he just moved on from Fury.

 

Guy who suffered a one sided beatin to a KO rarely comeback to win a rematch. It's the mental damage as much as physical.

 

Bud will benefit from being at 154 as well. Result, pretty much the same. People putting too much weight on the accident and weight draining and not looking at strategy and defense or lack thereof from Spence.

 

Spence lost because of skill and not weight. At 154 the result isnt going to be any different.

 

I think an inform spence lasts the distance. But he cant beat Crawford now.
