Spence could’ve just used IV fluids like Floyd Joy Sinclair did before pac fight. He would’ve performed much better
Werent IVs considered quite normal up until about 5-10 years ago? I remember De La Hoyas arm was still bleeding from the IV drip he got the day of the Pacquiao fight
Floyd used up most of the world's inventory of IV fluids in cycling for the Pac fight. Nurses are still hella mad at Floyd.
Because he's not called Floyd and doesn't sleep on a money mattress, some of which is alleged to have ended up in certain people's pockets.
Because being drained can be more than water weight loss. Spence has been cutting muscle for years now. He has been at welter since he was a teenager...you have to cut a decent amount of muscle and have an unhealthy low level of bodyfat to make that weight 14 years later. Same with Brook his bodyfat levels were PED usage low. Then you drain all the water out of your system which already holds little water because you're so lean and it destroys you. Spence needs more than iv fluids he needed a cheeseburger. Shame we didn't get to see a live weigh in Spence would have been a zombie. He horrible on fight night anyway the eyes are always the give away.
Well they're wrong given Spence has been gagging to go up to 154 for like 4 years at least which happens to be when he hit 30, a pivotal age given you have peak bone density at this age and are naturally bigger. Ignoring the fact he got all his teeth knocked out, which changes your facial jaw structure pretty significantly, you will experience bone loss from that as your jawbone reabsorbs, also having a retina break which for most boxers is a career ender on the spot, it's not a question of if you go blind, it's a question of when if you want to risk it. Even without injury it can happen to anyone at any time. This fight was interesting in 2018 maybe but Crawford would always want to grow into the weight further. Same goes for Usyk Fury although I'm sure usyk will find some magic somewhere because he's that kind of fighter just like Fury but ultimately it's a blown up cruiserweight who is injured, although Fury is injured also...put it this way 2 years in the future Usyk is 38 years. He ain't beating Fury he just isn't...and if Fury doesn't fight him before Summer 2024 I'll call it out as that. Say for example he fights AJ next not Usyk to draw it out....that would be bs.
