Is there another ''expert'' who could name Lennox Lewis in the top 5 heavyweights of all-time, then fail to come up with anybody but Muhammad Ali when asked who the other 4 were? Throw in the claim that Rocky Marciano used to recover from 3 or 4 knockdowns a round and his shameless cheerleading for Sky Sports, and ask, is there a worse, less informed pundit in sport than Spencer Oliver?

It's difficult to say definitively as it's a highly competitive field.

No he's not the worst, clueless yes but at least he's likable unlike Bellew, Johnny The Shill Nelson, Froch etc.

Strange as I seem to remember Spencer being a good pundit back in the early-mid 2000's, maybe he's stopped making any effort and in a sense why should he ?? The 'experts' on Sky are not there anymore to provide analysis and to spot things that the average viewer couldn't, they're there to produce hype, excitement and to con the naive into purchasing a steaming pudding for £20.

Forget whether he’s good or bad and listen to his and Jake woods podcast this week. Spent 15 minutes discussing specialist razors for your balls , along with ball toner and freshener. Utterly brilliant

Moore, Malignaggi, Bellew and Paul Smith ate knowledge about the technical side and boxing history. They’re all good in my opinion. However, Bellew and Smith are way too biased and Moore and Malignaggi are hardly ever on.

Froch is the worst I’m sure he’s admitted he doesn’t follow the sport.

To be fair, his career ended when he was battered in a coma and underwent brain surgery.
Most of our pundits don't even have that excuse.

I swear Spencer Oliver referred to Joshua as "the greatest heavyweight of all time" at the public workout or weigh-in to either AJ-Parker or AJ-Povetkin.

Nelson might be the worst pundit though.
He's actually the worst because he's more intelligent than most (probably ALL) of the others, and ought to know better.

Well in his defence his brain has suffered some serious trauma.
Lennox isn’t far off all time top 5 anyway.

He's terrible but Bellew and Nelson are the hardest for me to endure. Both are absolutely desperate to be loved - even more so than the rest of the Matchroom crew.

The product we have with Matchroom and Sky is the boxing equivalent of the "cool kids" at school, who are vankers and completely oblivious to the fact that they are vankers. Their "banter" amongst themselves is unbearable. I don't want to hear attempts at comedy from the crew or Nelson trying to make Woolhouse laugh. I want some decent, objective analysis. The comedy, in boxing, completely takes care of itself and the best kind of comedy in sports is unintentional.

    Froch is easily the worst.
