Porter would probably get stopped late in the fight I think and if Mikey goes to 135 he would get school again by loma.

This.... and as for power exposed, tell that to the 21 or 84% of opponents that haven't gone the distance with him. This fight showed Spence to be excellent and Garcia to be able to absorb a lot of punishment, he'll come back snd still be one of the best out there. Respect to both men.

 

he fought a top class opponent who knows how to defend and had his mind set on surviving. If you can't catch a guy clean at the right time, with a punch he probably doesn't see, you'll have a hard time knocking an opponent of this calibre down, let alone out. People just oversimplify all the time, it doesn't work like that. If your defence is good enough, you can take punches from much bigger guys and not go down. Sometimes it's enough to roll with the punch for just a quarter of an inch and take a great deal of power away from it.

 

Loma started at super feather and is better at 135 than Garcia was against Spence at 147, Ray Leonard started at 147 and beat Hagler, that`s the way to fight the bigger man, Garcia had no head movement at all, his body didn`t look right at 147.

 

Canelo was far better against the bigger GGG, P4P he`s far better than Garcia.

 

They should have.

 

Loma at 135 would look better v Garcia then Spence did v Mikey.

Hey your head out, Garcia would walk right through Loma and annihilate him in one side zero danger for MG performance.

Mikey is very hard to hit clean and can take anything Loma could throw and even if some landed perfectly MG would just wipe them away

MG VS Loma is a way worse mismatch than the massive mismatch Spence v MG was. How our loyal fans are the most blinded in all of sports is a head shaker considering 90% of fights have one possible outcome 100% if the time.


Spence always proves superior to every ww nevermind a LW. MG would pummel Loma so one sided that fight ruins Loma forever
