Which was the bigger upset /Surprise win, IYO?

Spinks of the first Holmes fight or the Fury v Wlad Klitschko match?

Spinks vs Holmes I guess? The fact that Holmes is still undefeated plus that Spinks is a Light- Heavy (which a lot failed to achieve).

Holmes was a 6 to 1 favorite, while against Wlad, fury was the outsider at around 4/1.

    Spinks obviously.

Wlad had been in decline for a while and he'd had major drama at home during the camp.

Both long time Champs, both showed signs of slowing down.
Got to admit, lookin back, I wasn't entirely convinced tho that Fury could do it.
Nothing really had jumped out at me to say he'd beat Wlad.
I had a feeling that experience would win out and the Bat man joker Fury would be soundly beat.

Same as Spinks v Holmes. Despite him showing his age, I didn't see a light heavy whipping Holmes.

    Both times.. Wrong!

Klitschko was 1/5 favourite which is a non-runner meaning there was no money at all to be made on him

Huge money was to be made on inexperienced , pre-prime Fury to beat the dominant Champ in Germany. Fury pulled the greater upset

    Spinks beating Holmes, in '85.

Spinks probably had more naysayers. Although, I seem to recall there being a few people, who thought Holmes was ripe for the upset.

Also - Fury had quite a few believers behind him, especially in the UK. It was UK money backing Fury that kept the betting odds for him winning quite respectable, all things considered.
