Spinks-Phillips, Who do you think deserved the decision?

I'll bet at least half dfidnt see it. Yes a lot hate Spinks. I dont care for him either but right is RIGHT and we KNOW whats wrong with last nights picture:good

 

It can be really disgusting how ignorant and immature boxing fans are. Sometimes I just truly detest being associated with them.

 

It's amazing how two people viewing the exact same thing can interpret the event completely differently. I don't know what happens between the retina and the visual cortex that screws up but some people must screw it up with dislike of a certain fighter

I dont like Spinks, he's a beatable guy, for TOP OPPOSITION at 54 but Verno got a verys serious GIFT. One that's exemplary of whats wrong in this sport.

Wasn't specifically, actually. You aren't the only one who didn't see this the way the majority did, and the views you've expressed are actually a lot more reasonable than some of those other lunatics...I remember after the fight some people said the scoring was dead-on or that they had it even wider for Verno. :nut

 

There was only about 3 out of 3 thread's that talked up Phillips that I saw.

To what end, one might ask? Would be better if they said - "Darn, I hate Stinks style - he is ****ing boring - I am ****ing glad he was robbed, so he probably will retire". You are most probably right in your assessment though.

I scored it for Spinks and was surprised at the decision. I wasnt impressed by his performance, but I dont think Phillips won more than 4 rounds. Spinks was stupid for standing in front of him at times and eating some hard shots, but I thought he definitely won the fight.

 

Yup - one of them even openly admitted it - while still trying to defend his choice - how dumb can someone be?(not thinking about Pharoah, as he is no fool, quite the opposite)
