Spinks vs Bundrage postponed

Nothing missed. Though that is the second Spinks fight to be canceled this year. He was scheduled to fight in Vegas earlier this year and that fight was caneceled as well. Probably a lack of ticket sales.

 

Spinks must be rusty as hell by now. I could see him getting brutally knocked out in his final fight like his uncle.

 

Im not surprised at all. I saw Bundrage at youth day here in Detroit and he looked horrible. He looked like a straight up crack head. I almost gave him 10 dollars. Spinks should not fight him anyway.

 

This is like the 3rd time this fight has been postponned. They might as well just cancel it flat out now.

 

Uh...that earlier scheduled bout was ALSO supposed to be against Bundrage, and it was pushed back because Spinks got in trouble with his trainer for being ridiculously overweight (nothing to do with ticket sales).

Spinks was never supposed to fight anybody but K9 this year. This is the second time it's been scheduled and called off.

 

LOL.... are you serious? Can't believe K9 is that out of shape. He always looks pretty trim to me

 

Dont know if he was out of shape or not but he looked really bad off. They had a boxing ring out there and was showing kids some boxing tips boys and girls. He just looked bummy and raggedy as hell.

 

again? When was the last time Cory fought?

 

Who cares.Obviously the fans in his own home town don't.No ticket sales so King pulled the plug-God forbid he lose money.

Spinks just needs to let it go and retire. He keeps holding on to his "world" title by the skin of his teeth, or losing it, and then getting undeserved shots at it again, all this against C+ fighters at best.

It's not like he's gonna get any better.

Just let it go Spinks, hopefully you got money in the bank, if not I'm sure you'll fight on another 5-6 years.

 

****ing Spinks and King, they already canceled once this year. Well here is hoping they make this a double header on Alexander-Kotnelik

 

Exactly. I know most people don't care about this fight, but K-9's a fellow Detroiter so I was hoping he'd get the shot. I think Spinks is right for the taking. I think this got postponed because Cory still isn't in shape.
