Not at 35, struggling with Carl Williams and ducking Page and Thomas. No.

Well, there was an end in sight, though. Most people felt that he lost to Carl Williams, and he had openly ducked Page and Thomas. I absolutely give Spinks credit...he was special. But I give him reasonable credit.

True but how would that workout for Spinks fighting him if he’s even fresher ?

But then would Usyk beat a fresher Holmes aswell ? who knows. I'm still not totally sold on Usyk at Heavyweight TBH, he didn't blow me away vs Chisora or Witherspoon. And Joshua hasn't been the same since he got his soul taken by Ruiz.

You can always discredit a win though for example Usyk's win over Joshua. He hasn't been the same since Ruiz loss, and just look at Joshua's last fight he hardly set the world alight with that tentative performance.

For me i still think beating an ATG long reigning champion regardless if he was faded, is better than beating Anthony Joshua who you could say is not the same fighter since Ruiz loss.

And as I said in the first statement I made, I respect that. Spinks was a great fighter. There was no doubt in my mind that Larry was at a very low point of dodgy fights, dodging fights, and can crushing. But it was a fine win nonetheless.

Fair enough. I suppose anything could happen.
