Oscar wants control of his company back. Haymon and Schaeffer are going to walk with the Al Haymon fighters. Oscar will be left with the GBP fighters and the showtime deal.. Fighters signed to GBP are Hopkins, Khan, Canelo, Molina and a bunch of younger guys and lesser fighters.

Great news. Oscar is a former great who wants to make the best fights. Haymon and Schaeffer have been trying to make boxing like the UFC in the way it is run.

Great for the sport if this is true. I had been wondering if he was going to let Haymon turn boxing into WWE. And for anyone who would defend Haymon - he doesnt provide "great advice" he just extorts people to allow them to have fights. Lots of what Ali Act tried to prevent, Haymon has come along and reinvented in a way that meets more or less the letter of the law.

Can someone explain this rift between DLH and Shaffer? What's going on?
