Danny looked good but I think this Otis Griffin has not faught any one near Danny,s calibre and he has now been exposed for what he is a TV show winner nothing more.
And please no more about the Green Mundine rematch most posters here know that it would be much of the same.

I thought it was good display from green, he didn't carry on, just got straight down to business and did the job.

I think it's worth giving some cred to griffin, although he got dominated he was a real gentleman and showed alot of class both before and after the fight in the way he handled himself as a sportsman.

However, I was ****ing appauled at the trash yelling out during the american anthem and during the 10 rings of the bell for damo scott, you could see it bothered green and it sure as **** bothered me. That type of **** should not be tolerated.

I completely agree. Green should just do his own thing, he has a decent following and can finish his career successfully without mundine. This applies equally if not more to mundine who everyone knows has the potential if he wishes to use it.

Hope everyone enjoyed the night! :good

Yeah mate i was there at the fight & the crowd showed tonnes of disrespect during the 10 bell rings & the USA national anthem.
I was singing the US national anthem, but people behind me are saying crap like "F*** america" & "Why is this crap being played". Sad stuff.
Crowd came pretty late too, i was there from the start, obviously most are Green fans & not boxing fans.:deal
Green does have a tonne of hillbilly bum supporters.:yep
The screeming during the 10 bells was very sad also.:verysad

Griffin was garbage I expected more but sometimes when guys step up they just crumble.

That being said the stoppage was a tad early. The KD's seem more from Green just bludgening Griffin and wrestling him down.
In fights like this the 3 KD rule isnt always appropriate, Griffin looked like he could continue and at least one of the KD's was borderline.

Green looked quick and focused but still uninventive and robotic even.
At this stage Tarver could still probably outbox him and stop him late.

I say Danny has a bigger chance against Woods but even thats a 50-50 fight for him.

Dunno if I'd say the stoppage was premature. Even though he pretty much got up as soon as the ref called it off, I think it was still the right call. Being knocked down 3 times in the space of say 45 seconds isn't good, and it's deserving of a stoppage imo.

I just feel it showed Griffin's lack of balance and mongrel more than his lack of chin.

Because he really didnt get tagged with a lot of clean hits going down.
Almost like he was bullied to the stoppage, which happens but I would have like to seen more.
I never used the word premature for a reason, Ive seen guys come back from more and even though it is the ref's job to protect the fighter he wasnt getting hurt all that much. Nothing controversial, wrong or harsh about it, just in my opinion It could have gone on.
