    If you guys want to chat about the fights heres a place to do it without spoiling it for the others


    Things that stuck out for me were

    . that japanese dude in the white shorts who survived a dozen submission attempts only to get subbed in the final round - nooooooooooooo!!!

    . mousasi kitayro fight was fantastic

    . so good seeing aoki getting KOd after cheating his way through the first round (tho wasnt good seeing him hurt so bad)

    . overeem duffee! well credit to duffee he came out swinging, and thank god he didnt get badly hurt. he can enjoy his new year tonight

    Lets be honest here though... why did he try and trade with Overeem? I think he staked a truck load of money on the Reem to win by KO in the first and wanted to get it done as quickly as possible!

    I smell a dirty rat ******* in Duffee!

    Who cares Lynchburg? It still takes some balls to stand in front of Overeem and trade shots, plus its not like he himself wasn't swinging, what would he have done if he caught and KOed Overeem? Lost all this supposed money? I doubt it. I think he just figured his one and only shot was to swing for the fences and hope for a lucky shot.

    Thats exactly what he did. And takes balls indeed to go in with that monster. Wonder what 2011 has instore for Reem, cause he would absolutely decimate the UFC roster

    credit to duffee he did come out swinging and even though he was way out of his depth he at least tried to have a go. having a shoot out with reem isn't a good idea though.

    Alistair is bang on form, a real monster of a fighter.


    I think Cain and Junior Dos Santos are both special though. Here is my top ten.

    Yeah they're both great fighters. Reem still destroys them though, IMO, just far too much experience and ridiculously well rounded. Werdum's riding high after his Fedor win, but not many would pick him to win a rematch. There's several great fighters there - its awful we cant see them all head to head - MMA seems to be going the way of boxing :-(

    Thats the UFC's fault. The other orgs cooperate. The UFC isnt interested.

    Duffee did bump Overeem down early, then Reem got straight up and decimated. Think he realised there was no way to win as soon as Reem got straight up and started paggering him.

    Right now Overeem would get absolutely decimated by a drug test. He needs to clean his system out before coming back to the states.
