    There was gossip that Ray Leonard was using PEDS for rematch with Hearns.

    Tibbs said Leanord refuted claims at the time claiming that his hypotrophic body in the fight was due to a new amino acid supplement on the market....


    Based on this gossip.....it makes you wonder how many fighters used PEDs in the past with testing being even more primitive than it is now.

    ....disspointing that we only scrutinise Pacman and not other fighters....we seem to take notice of the words of a few ill educated south west hill billy's (Mayweathers). Its easier to diminish someone accomplishments than actually fight them.

    Yeah, Hearns and Steward accused Leonard of using steroids. His physique had looked considerably bigger a few months earlier, in the Lalonde fight.

    It wouldn't surprise me if big-name fighters from the 60's on were on steroids/ped's, especially given that society's witch hunting of them and the resulting stigma only began about 10 years ago.

    I always thought Ali was on something vs holmes, just to get him in shape.
    For some reason I also still believe tyson was on roids very early in his carreer. What 18 year old kid looks like that knocking out guys 10 years older 6 inches taller and 30 pounds havier. Or post prison tyson. But sinc ehe never got caught with anything i just keep assuming he was amazing.
