Vitali's mental strength and ego - and therefore his ABILITY in the ring - took a massive boost after the Lewis fight.

Pre-Lewis and I think a prime Tyson would have made him look quite clumsy.

Post Lewis vs a prime Tyson and it would have been a 12 round war - ala Ruddock-Tyson.

Many people ignore the psychlogical aspect of the fight game.

It is THE over-riding factor in ALL of sports.

prime tyson rips down the heavens and ko's all the gods , prime tyson could fight off an entire invading army by himself. prime tyson makes movies real life and ko's godzilla and king kong then rapes them while superman watches and cries! and i know this because i saw tyson whip a bunch of nobodies in the 80's. nobody beats prime tyson!!!!!!! except buster "holyfields ***** " douglas ....but thats not important.....

:patsch Tyson wouldn't need to knock Vitali out. He could outbox and outpoint him if he wanted to. Tyson was far more skilled and talented then Vitali is. Tyson beat contenders that are more skilled then Vitali.

This fight would be a one-sided beatdown, ending in a stoppage at some point.

Tyson would have won but he wouldnt have chopped him down I dont think. Probably decision or tko. He might have cut him up pretty good as well

not an easy pick id say the longer it goes the more i would favor vitali

he had all the physical advantages hits hard has a punch variety hard to hit in the face

Tyson could fold mentally when facing adversity

its hard to say but i think vitali edges

No dude quit getting your info from boxing records and watch these guys before you speak on them... Ribalta was a Tough skilled gatekeeper/fringe condenter when he fought Tyson..

When he fought Ribalta he was shot, and wouldnt even qualifly as one of Arreolas opponents.

Agreed. Many people in the general ignore 90% of boxing's intangibles. They only see what they wanna see.
